The long awaited Ayi Jihu single has finally arrived. The artist referred to as ‘The Chinese Madonna’ has not released a new track for almost a year concentrating and her philanthropic endeavors and her Fear Chaser film. Ayi fans have been waiting a long time to see what this trailblazing artist would do next.
It just would not be Ayi Jihu or Shlepp Entertainment if they did anything anyone expected them to do now would it, and once again they stay true to their history and surprise as all again. Not that we should be surprised from a Chinese artist that coins a word no other international Chinese artist can, Independent. An artist that has broken the rules and made her own path from day one.
The new single is called 'It's Magic'and it includes 5 mixes all together. 'So what's so surprising about that I hear you ask? Well for an artist well known for her provocative lyrics and style, and at a time when music is getting faster and more dance orientated, Ayi has opted to release a love song with pop overtones and under 120bpm. It's Magic is not what many would have expected from Ayi Jihu. There is no effort here to 'Keep up with the Jones's'. This is a beautiful, well crafted song about love, emotion, commitment and loyalty.
The video is a little different too. It’s a mini movie, telling a story, with a twist. In order to get her story across Ayi opted to make two versions of the video, the longer one fleshing the story out a bit more and filling in some of the gaps one cannot fill in 3.30 seconds. A lot of thought and passion has gone into this track from Ayi. The presentation of the music artwork and website all have a distinct movie look. When we questioned Ayi about this she said, She did not want to just make a song and throw it out there, she wanted to make a statement whether people listened to it or not.
You will never get to far away from RnB with Ayi and even with it’s definite pop style, you can still hear and feel the RnB in this track. It’s one of those songs that if you listen to it more than once, you know it and you are singing it, like it or not. We feel quite a few people will like this and we feel even more people will associate themselves with the story and sentiment that Ayi is trying to get across.
For those of you who like their music with a a 4 to the floor vibe, don’t panic. Ayi Jihu linked up with the Trinity Band and their remix of the song takes it in a whole other direction while keeping the sentiment, it goes from a more melancholy affair to a an upbeat dance and sing along happier track. Featuring live music and vocals from the Trinity Band who have come a long way since they almost grabbed the top prize on Sky’s Must be the Music’.
Add to that a sultry Blues and Soul Duet remix featuring Chicago born new comer Rapheal Rar Miller and you have a package that has a little bit of something for everyone.
It’s Magic has a lot going on. The whole project kinda takes you back to the days when singles meant something and artist did not throw one out every couple of weeks as seems to be the trend these days. It even has a trailer!
Whether or not the public will take to the way Ayi Jihu and Shlepp Records are presenting their music remains to be seen, one thing for sure is you get more than value for money here. Do we expect Ayi Jihu to change and do what everyone else is doing in the way they are doing it…..Nope, She never really has, so why should she start now? There is a lot to Ayi Jihu’s it’s Magic indeed, you only have to visit the website to see the whole look and feel is not like any other. You get the story, the making of, find out who did what, and much, much more. See for yourself. Visit www.loveismagic.co.uk we think you will be more than a little surprised again.
Yep it seems that Shlepp and Ayi have thought of just about everything on this single release. There truly is something for everyone here. For those of you who like your Ayi Old skool, there is a really cool video you can watch here called Music Motion Dance. This is for those who like the more raw edgy Ayi of Smak Dat, the Girl who took Macau by Storm and has since gone on to be on the verge of Mega success worldwide. We can only assume Ayi wanted to put this in to remind her fans that As she grows she will never abandon her roots, her love of Ragga, RnB, Hip Hop and all things Urban. Good to know Ayi. Click on any of the Screen shots below to watch the video
It Just would not be Ayi Jihu if there was not some time of Charity of Philanthropy involved. Ayi Jihu is one of the few artist we know that seems to marry her ‘Giving back’ side and her Artist side very well. She has being doing so from day one, which leads one to believe that this is who she really is rather than something she feels she has to do for appearance sake. This time it’s Help for Heroes and once you listen to the song and more importantly watch the promo video (better yet the Extended video) You will understand more why Ayi has chosen this particular Charity to work with on this project.
Yep Ayi is back in the Musical limelight again with a whole new look and swagga. Her new style courtesy of Native Canadian Designer Angela DeMontigny (designer of the new FearChaser® Costume for the FearChaser® Film) suites her well.
You will be able to listen to all the mixes, watch all the videos. You even get to sing-a-long to a Karaoke version if you want. There are great deals on offer on the website, you can purchase from Itunes or your normal online store or you can take advantage of one of the many deals on offer direct from Shlepp which includes bonus singles, wallpapers and lots of other cool stuff.
It’s Magic is released on April the 1st 2013 You can order your copy now on Pre-sale, or you can get the single on the site with one of the many special offers available.
Every Day it seems thousands of people release a single somewhere, every now and then something comes along that grabs your attention a little bit more than the norm and this is one of those things. The whole project from the music to the videos, images, is classy, well thought out and expansive. For once it seems you will get more than Value for hard earned cash. Do yourself a favour and goto www.loveismagic.co.uk You may well get a surprise.

TOP NATIVE DESIGNER AND STYLIST ANGELA DEMONTIGNY LAUNCHES YOUNG NATIVE FASHION LINE WITH CHINESE STAR AYI JIHU
‘Young Native’ (@YoungNativStyle) a new fashion line from Designer Angela DeMontigny.
Maverick Native Designer and stylist Angela DeMontigny today launched her new Fashion line ‘Young Native‘ to the world in some style. We have been expecting a new young and fresh line from Angela (@womanofdesign) for some time now, but what we did not expect was the collaboration with Chinese Star Ayi Jihu.
“Live Free, Love Free” That is the motto of the ‘Young Native‘ brand designed by top Native Designer, Angela DeMontigny. This new line which has a refined ‘street’ vibe to it, is for the young, free spirited and confident 18 – 35 year old woman who wants to be sexy, classy and real but also connected with the natural and cultural elements of life. Working with Ayi Jihu to create that vibe was a shrewd move by Angela DeMontigny. Ayi Jihu is an artist, philanthropist and celebrity known for being independent and real. She is also a Native born Chinese girl, from the Yi Minority in Sichuan Province of China. She is about as native as you are gonna get coming from China and she represents a new breed of international women hungry for their place in the new world.
Angela DeMontigny worked closely with Chinese Star Ayi Jihu when creating the collection. After developing the costume for Ayi Jihu’s Fear Chaser character that is being crafted into a movie, comic book and animation, Angela and Ayi became not only close friends but colleagues. Ayi Jihu is now hard at work on her new Album set for release in 2013 as well as getting ready for her first proper Film Role in British Romantic Drama As Blue As The Sky which is set to start filming in October with a strong British cast. Angela DeMontigny is styling Ayi for her part in the film and the two have been working very hard to get everything finalized.
Working on the Young Native Fashion Line with Angela was the most fun. She really does it all and I just kinda give my opinion on what I like and what I think will go down. The whole style of the range and what it stands for suits me perfectly. I love the Tee Shirts they are so cool and each one of them stands for something. They are cultural, natural, colourful and well made, but they are also cool, street and fashionable, not as easy as you would think to achieve. When I am wearing Young Native clothes I just get so many compliments from women, which is different from just getting men looking. Just walking down the street you get people coming up to you asking, where did you get that, It’s great! Most of all it’s about how things make you feel and I feel real, sexy and even more confident when I wear the right things and Young Native gives me those feelings.
I’m really proud of what we have come up with here and I know it will go down with women all over the world. I am overjoyed to be the Ambassador for the product and feel I played a little part in how this new line is being presented. Angela is a fantastic, original designer, she is the first of her kind to really break out into high fashion. She and I are both going where no one has quite gone before and we have a kind of sister relationship. She has designed the new Fear Chaser costume (which is fantastic) and she is also designing and styling me for my live shows, videos as well as the film I am going to be working in this year. So we are just having a good time, working hard and doing good business too. I know she works closely with My management, Record and Production company Shlepp Entertainment and they had a lot to do with helping her develop the marketing and images and direction for Young Native. They are also helping her establish the brand in China so it’s very much a team effort all of this. I know everyone will love it as much as I do.
It was a natural progression for Angela, after becoming Ayi Jihu’s personal stylist and designer to craft a collection she has been planning for several years and use Ayi Jihu as a muse for her designs.
The result is the beautifull and vibrant Young Native Collection. The Young Native Collection is set to grow over the next several months with more styles and accessories being added. Ayi Jihu is proud and happy to represent this new vibrant fashion brand and hopes that it will catch on around the world and especially in China.
Head of Shlepp Entertainment Stevie Eagle E
We are constantly on the look out for strategic business alliances for our business. We are always looking for ways to expand Ayi Jihu’s presence around the world. She is not just about singing there is much more to her than that. Young Native is a fantastic brand with great growth potential and it works perfectly with Ayi Jihu. We see nothing but good things here. Angela DeMontigny is the first of her kind really, a native designer about to breakthrough into mainstream fashion. Together they form a Dream Team with us firmly behind them, making sure that the brand and the individuals get out to the world.
Ayi Jihu continues to work hard independently with Shlepp Entertainment building her brand around the world. Despite the odds she continues to grow. Her new single and album are scheduled for release in 2013 and we shall be bringing you any news first here on Global News.

Ayi Jihu launched her Fear Chaser Kickstarter project today and to celebrate the launch of a 45 day promotion to raise funds for the Fear Chaser Short Movie Ayi Jihu has released brand new photos that she calls her Sexy Fear Chaser side.
We spoke to Ayi Jihu about Fear Chaser, Kickstarter and why she is doing what she is doing? ‘We have been talking to many people about the Fear Chaser movie and it has just grown and grown. We have some star names interested in it now, but we found the whole world of film making and production daunting and full of sharks. It is important to us to get this movie made the way we want it to be made. So Stevie came up with the idea of making a short movie first. He has plently of experience with videos and short movies having made dozens over the years, very good ones too. It seemed to make more sense to do something we could control more to get this rolling in the right way.’ We had no idea Fear Chaser would take off so fast and grow so big! 25 million kids playing the online game just threw us completely! We knew it was a good idea, but we did not expect this, now we are trying to play catch up and stay on top of it as it grows. The game was great exposure for Fear Chaser and we worked with AQW.com to make it happen, and licensed it to them for a time, to use for free. Now we want to build on all of that and fulfill Fear Chasers potential.
When we started looking at raising the money needed for the short movie we realized that we would need help. The animation side of the project is very expensive. The look and feel of this is going to be very different from the trailer, we are stepping it up quite a bit and we are working with Award winning Director Wayne Campbell who has some amazing ideas. Several people in Hollywood told us about Kickstarter. They told us if you have a good project it’s a good way to get it funded and get people involved. We looked into it and found it was right for us. What I love about Kickstarter is it gives all my friends, fans and followers a chance to be a part of what I am doing. It is the best way yet that I have seen of doing this. This really appealed to both Stevie and I as we work with many people and like the idea of collaboration and integration.
How does it work?
It’s simple really people go on Kickstarter.com and look at projects looking for funding or support and pledge anything from $1.00 up to whatever to that project. Depending on what you pledge there are rewards ranging from Exclusive photos, DVD’s and merchandise to parts, Executive production credits and invitations to the premier. I don’t want to spoil it by telling everyone what we are offering, but I feel it will appeal to all sorts of people those with $1 and those with a bit more, at least I hope so. Another good thing is that people can get a great overview of the project and comment. I think it appeals to people who want to be a part of something rather than just be a watcher. Now all my fans, follower and friends can actually support me and see their names in the credits for the movie, actually be a part of something great.
What can you tell us about the Short Movie?
I have to be careful because I do not want to give too much away just yet. I told you before that Award winning director Wayne Campbell will be directing the movie. He is also working with Myself and Stevie on the Script. We are going to be shooting mostly in North America, we may shoot in Canada. The styling and costumes are going to done by fantastic Native American designer Angela DeMontigny. I am really excited about working with her. We met while I was in Canada and she like me is part of A Celebration of Women Foundation Inc. I can tell you there will be loads of action, martial arts and animation, fused with music and dance and I can also tell you that the short movie will concentrate on the birth of Fear Chaser, but more than that I cannot say right now. We want to get it done and launch it in Palm Springs by November so it’s all hands to the pump!
What would you like to say to your fans?
Nothing I have not already said really. Support us, help us make this happen and stay in control and be a part of something. So many people are working so hard for and around me and many of them are doing it out of love or belief as well as they see it as a way to help them reach their goals too. I have real people around me pushing me, guiding me, helping me every step of the way.
I am always on the phone to my vocal coach and artist development mentor JR Skeete trying to improve my skills as a singer, performer and entertainer. I am not sure how he puts up with me but he is always there for me. Everyone knows about Stevie Eagle E and what he does, the guy just does not stop working, without him we would have nothing. Natalie Tibbs makes sure everything is top notch and we are protected and she worked hard on the Fear Chaser project to make sure it was presented correctly. Michael Frydrych has helped us get much of what we need for the making of the movie and has got us distribution too, He is always there for us and we shall be holding the launch at his Cinema. James womack, Amado Salinas, Michael Ellman are all working very hard on this project. I know i’m reeling of names now but the more I think about it the more people I want to mention and thank, like Denzil Roberts from Fabulous 100 who is always there making things happen, keeping me Gucci and working my PR, Simon Goldring our Lawyer, Cynthia Lee and John Burke who help us keep everything on point and Crazy Amadu who is working on the music with us. Then we have Lesley Alexander who makes sure we keeping within our financial boundaries and working efficiently, She is no ordinary accountant I can tell you! Trust me I could go on without all of these people, My fellow women of Action Catherine Anne Clark and others I have not mentioned I could not function and do what I do. Most of these people are helping us and working with us to achieve their goals and ours and now I am giving anyone who wants a chance to be a part of this an opportunity through Kickstarter.
It’s so easy people just have to go to kickstarter and check it out it’s a few minutes of their time.
Chinese Star Ayi Jihu takes time out from her hectic tour of Hollywood and LA to visit the former playground of the Hollywood elite Palm Springs. Ayi Jihu will be doing a various media engagements in the area including an interview for radio with Joey English.
Ayi Jihu also met up Kevin and Kevin from Elan Vital, (a revolutionary new Anti Aging product that she endorses) at the World famous Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs to sign a new Global sponsorship deal.
Elan Vital are about to put their product into 5 Star Hotels worldwide and are working on distributing this groundbreaking product to Asia. Ayi Jihu will not only represent Elan Vital in the West but also in China and the East.
Stevie Eagle E (Ayi Jihu’s producer and Manager and head of Shlepp Entertainment Ltd) accompanied Ayi Jihu to Palm Springs to oversea the deal and also meet up with the head of Ayi Jihu’s global Mobile Media network (Uronimo) Amado Salinas. Uronimo will be providing the Mobile Global infrastructure for Ayi Jihu and her Flyy Girl TV show show.
Ayi Jihu also took time out to take in the wonderful landscape of Palm Springs and get some well need Rest. Speaking Exclusively to Stars Confidential Ayi Jihu told us: “So far it’s been non stop, so coming here was really needed. It’s such a beautiful place and we are just loving it out here. Everything is going fantastic here, I am feeling really blessed. You hope that people will take to you, but you never know, you can only be yourself and pray, and so far people seem to be taking to me like I am one of them. We have so many things happening it would be impossible to tell it all, but lets say I think Hollywood is in the mood for some Chili.
Stevie Eagle E told Stars Confidential: “So far, So Good, We have a lot of hard work to do, but the work we have done in the past seems to be paying off now and Ayi Jihu is flying. People are beginning to see that Ayi Jihu can open doors to Billions of people and that the door swings both ways, so i’m not surprised that she is doing well. It’s getting harder and harder for people to make a buck in this business and the industry will need new types of artists and icons to continue making the huge profits it has been making in the past. We are just gonna keep doing our thing our way and let that take us where it takes us. We have strategic relationships in place which we have been building for years in America, so although it may seem like we are fresh on the block, in truth we aint. This is a beautiful place, it’s hard not to see God when you look at them mountains here in Palm Springs. We are going to enjoy our time here and head back into the heart of LA and finish what we started.”

The much anticipated Ayi Jihu Fear Chaser online game kicked off at midnight GMT and was an outstanding success. AQ.com knew the interest in the game would be good, but even they did not expect thier gamers to pile into the game in the numbers they did, with almost 20,000 lining up to play before the game even started. Thats twice the amount of people in Wembly Arena waiting to watch a digital animated concert.
Before the Game Event launched Ayi as Fear Chaser answered questions from her fans in the lobby area (digital) AQ.com moderators could not control the amount of questions and people trying to speak to Ayi causing them to have to break it off and re-group 30 minutes later.
Before the action truly starts and you go out there and bash some fear monsters you are taken through a story which sets up everything. Your character (whatever you create) becomes inlisted by Ayi Jihu to help her fight some serious fear monsters
All the time the action takes place Ayi Jihu’s music is pumping in the back ground. At this point you are not actualy playing as much as taking part in a digital movie or animation. There are some great, and quite funny bits too, like the animated Ayi Jihu belly dance or the AQ.com take on the patented Ayi Jihu dancing style. I think it would be almost impossible to replicate Ayi’s moves in any animation but they certainly give it a good enough go here.
Fear Chaser does some pretty cool super hero stuff too, jumping from buildings, leaping over crowds with a single jump and landing on poor characters in the game. All done with real style you find yourself getting drawn into the story as it unfolds.
This is all very watchable stuff and you will find yourself smiling and smirking quite a bit as you watch. AQ have obviously not cut any corners here and have produced a really watchable mini animation, that is somewhat interactive.
Once you watch the intro you are then ready to go on your first mission and battle some bad guys with Ayi. You return to the game lobby area which is like a little mini landscape and you will see that the next level is unlocked and you can now go and start fighting your fears. The first fear on your list is Virtigo the fear of heights. We wont spoil it by telling you too much about that but we can say its very playable and interesting too. AQ have taken time to do justice to the whole Ayi Jihu Fear Chaser concept and they have obviously done their research on fears and phobias. Another good thing is as you battle these fears you are joined by other fear fighters who help you out here and there
Serious hardcore gamers may not quite get this, world of warcraft it aint. It’s fun and does not take itself too seriously, and it’s charm is in the story and Ayi Jihu. It also is part of the whole Fear Chaser Franchise and project and from that perspective its a fantastic coupe. From the youngest in your family to the oldest there is something in this game event even if its just watching the animation, some of us older cats might find the game play and lingo a bit daunting.
With the Fear Chaser Chronicles album set about to be released on May 2nd but being made available to Gamers and the public at large on pre-release on Fear Chaser music site you can expect to hearing a lot more about Ayi Jihu – Fear Chaser over the forth coming months.

Ayi Jihu with Kasinova Tha Don, Bobby Brown, Lil mo, Jagged Edge, Shorty Mack, Punjabi MC, Shizz Nitty – Her new album about to hit!
We have been waiting for it a long time and Chinese star Ayi Jihu has not disappointed. Her new album(s) Fear Chaser Chronicles 1 and Fear chaser Chronicles Game Chronicles 1 feature a host of legendary names and bright new stars from all over the world and is set to make a real impression in the music industry.
Since the beginning of the year Shlepp Records and Ayi Jihu stole a march on the Global Entertainment industry with the launch of their Fear Chaser project. It was announced then that Fear Chaser would be a mulit-platform, multi media project spanning Film, Animation, live, music and Game. What has happened since then has taken the world by storm. The Fear Chaser Movie has caught the imagination of Hollywood and the world and a Global movie production team is now in place from China and the US putting together this movie with an estimated 30 million production budget at least.
The Online Ayi Jihu Fear Chaser Game Event kicks off Friday April 15th on one of the worlds largest gaming platforms to 110 Million subscribers. The Chinese version of the Game to follow soon after. Already the Ayi Jihu Fear Chaser Franchise seems like an unstoppable machine destined to be a buzz word for a new generation. With the Comic, animation and TV series all in various stages of production the Fear Chaser Franchise seems completed. But it’s not!
Fear Chaser is about the music, it’s global and it’s about collaboration and the series of Albums connected to it are about to hit. From the beginning of last year Shlepp Records set about its plan to get the artists that they and Ayi Jihu wanted to collaborate on the musical side of the project. Ayi Jihu was not concerned about who was popular or making noise but who was good, great and the legends she listened to while growing up. She wanted the artist that played a part in her development or whos own stories helped her develop her style and fight her fears. She also wanted to find different and new artists, up and coming talent and put them all together in Fear Chaser. She said the idea came to her as a Man Utd fan watching how they blended the New, and the experienced together to make a winning team rather than just going out and spending money getting what is supposed to be hot. She wants the Fear Chaser project and album to work the same.
Featuring songs from her Adventure Quest Online game event, the movie soundtrack, animation and TV series to follow every song and almost every artist is an intrigal part of the Whole Fear Chaser Experience. Some of the artists are even in the movie itself playing themselves.
Ayi Jihu has been in the studio constantly from late last year working and collaborating with artists all over the world and this new series of albums will highlight some brand new tracks. A lot of people are also waiting to hear the tracks with her and urban legend Kasinova Tha Don. Not only do the two play star crossed lovers in the Fear Chaser Movie but they collaborate on several songs over the series of albums and create a vibe that many are wondering just how far are they really involved? The references to Tupac and Kasinova have been discussed over and over and the reference to Ayi Jihu and Madonna is now a global tag she can’t shake if she wants to. Is this Tupac and Madonna getting together? Not quite but the songs Hold you Down and let’s party are both wonderful tracks on the album which will go further to bring these two shinning stars to the world’s attention.
The album will be officially released on May 2nd and will be available on Itunes and all regular download sites. Until then it is only available on pre-release at two sites one in the West Fear chaser music and one in the East Sogua.com. It will also be available from Ayi Jihu’s Fear Chaser clothing line platform Threads Addiction. Yes there is a clothing line too. In fact with The Fear Chaser ‘Real’ Experience also kicking off this month offering the gamers and fans a chance to take a Fear Fighting jump or walk on the world’s highest bungee jump in Macau and also at various other AJ Hackett sites around the world you could say that the Fear Chaser Franchise covers almost everything.
There are two albums, one especially for the Gamers.
The album artists roster (listed Alphabetically) is impressive:
Kasinova Tha Don
The Album will go out on the Shlepp Entertainment Ltd/Shlepp Records label.
We are told this is just the beginning with Chronicles albums 2 and 3 already being worked on for later on this year plus the final Chronicles which will see over 14 brand new Ayi Jihu songs. There are more great stars and artists lined up some huge names involved and the plan is for the Albums to start amazing and just continue to improve and get better.
Each of the Albums contain over 15 tracks giving not only great music but great value for money. Ayi Jihu says she does not want to do what everyone else does, she wants to do better, give more and that is what she has done here for sure. For those of you who will be playing the game you will find your favorite songs from the game on both the Albums, but the Game album contains all the songs from the game.
These are truly great albums with great songs from great stars and upcoming stars all brought together by Ayi Jihu. The great thing about them both is that there is something for everyone who loves great music. Rap, R&B, PoP, dance, Rock & Roll even Indie, Funk and Jazz. It’s all there in one great package.
The Albums are available from Friday April 15th exclusively on pre-release on Fear Chaser Music So get yours now!
