CHINESE STAR AYI JIHU ‘Paying it forward’ as GLOBAL AMBASSADOR FOR BOOKER AUTISM FOUNDATION OF LOUISVILLE, BAFOL
Chinese star Ayi Jihu yet again leads the way in her mission to bring people together and help people all over the world, part of her ‘Pay it forward’ approach to Charity and philanthropy by becoming the Global Ambassador for The Booker Autism Foundation of Louisville (BAFOL)
The mission of the Booker Autism Foundation of Louisville is to support people in their time of need and raise public awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders.
BAFOL empower families to enable their children, teens, and adults with Autism to reach their full potential. Not only to educate them, but to provide assistance in helping them to fulfill their lifelong goals. Such as: education, employment, and independent living arrangements. BAFOL has a team of dedicated volunteers who believe in this mission and put every effort in place to fulfill the mission.
Jasmine Booker Founder and CEO of BAFOL said: “BAFOL is truly honored to pair up with China’s first truly independent R&B star and crossover artist to the West, Fear Chaser, Global Ambassador, Philanthropist, humanitarian and rising media icon Miss Ayi Jihu. We are very excited that she will be BAFOL’s Global International Ambassador.
This young lady is truly an amazing accomplished individual with a full career in music, television, and the film industry. Along with her hectic schedule, she still has time to dedicate her voice in being a great humanitarian; that is why BAFOL is pleased in announcing Miss Ayi Jihu joining our foundation by lending her voice and time to help others be aware of our journey and our goals in assisting individuals that live day-to-day with Autism Spectrum Disorders.”
“A Global Ambassador for BAFOL has the ability to reach others on a wider span. Therefore, they are able to inspire children/teens/adults along with other organizations to be encouraged to lend a helping hand in building a bridge across the world. By receiving this vital information on Autism Spectrum Disorders and the awareness that needs to be conveyed, will help bring about unity for this disorder. These are individuals who are truly committed to helping others and have demonstrated this by their efforts to motivate others to participate.”
Ayi Jihu, who was announced Global Ambassador for Sisha(the anti human trafficking organization) the Anti Human Trafficking organisation based in Thailand, Australia and America told us: “This has been some year already, and i honestly do not know what is going to happen next. I was not even that clued up on Autism and then out of the blue Jasmine contacted me and if you ever speak to Jasmine you know saying no is not an option. She is so committed and full of energy and she is doing amazing things from nothing. I mean three kids is hard enough, three autistic children I cannot imagine and then with all that she sets up and runs BAFOL. I just had to get involved and help and do whatever I could do. My Manager Stevie Eagle E also has an autistic son and so he was very much up for this too. Shlepp Entertainment Ltd will be doing all they can to work with and help BAFOL. I am hoping to get be at a fund raiser for BAFOL in July and that’s when we shall really get things started. Right now I am doing all my homework on autism. A Global international Ambassadorship with BAFOL, is an individual that shares in being an advocate of bringing the awareness to other’s by displaying the image of BAFOL, they also acknowledge that they will speak on behalf of BAFOL and our goals on educating others about Autism Spectrum Disorder. So I have to know what I am talking about.”

TOP NATIVE DESIGNER AND STYLIST ANGELA DEMONTIGNY LAUNCHES YOUNG NATIVE FASHION LINE WITH CHINESE STAR AYI JIHU
‘Young Native’ (@YoungNativStyle) a new fashion line from Designer Angela DeMontigny.
Maverick Native Designer and stylist Angela DeMontigny today launched her new Fashion line ‘Young Native‘ to the world in some style. We have been expecting a new young and fresh line from Angela (@womanofdesign) for some time now, but what we did not expect was the collaboration with Chinese Star Ayi Jihu.
“Live Free, Love Free” That is the motto of the ‘Young Native‘ brand designed by top Native Designer, Angela DeMontigny. This new line which has a refined ‘street’ vibe to it, is for the young, free spirited and confident 18 – 35 year old woman who wants to be sexy, classy and real but also connected with the natural and cultural elements of life. Working with Ayi Jihu to create that vibe was a shrewd move by Angela DeMontigny. Ayi Jihu is an artist, philanthropist and celebrity known for being independent and real. She is also a Native born Chinese girl, from the Yi Minority in Sichuan Province of China. She is about as native as you are gonna get coming from China and she represents a new breed of international women hungry for their place in the new world.
Angela DeMontigny worked closely with Chinese Star Ayi Jihu when creating the collection. After developing the costume for Ayi Jihu’s Fear Chaser character that is being crafted into a movie, comic book and animation, Angela and Ayi became not only close friends but colleagues. Ayi Jihu is now hard at work on her new Album set for release in 2013 as well as getting ready for her first proper Film Role in British Romantic Drama As Blue As The Sky which is set to start filming in October with a strong British cast. Angela DeMontigny is styling Ayi for her part in the film and the two have been working very hard to get everything finalized.
AYI JIHU
Working on the Young Native Fashion Line with Angela was the most fun. She really does it all and I just kinda give my opinion on what I like and what I think will go down. The whole style of the range and what it stands for suits me perfectly. I love the Tee Shirts they are so cool and each one of them stands for something. They are cultural, natural, colourful and well made, but they are also cool, street and fashionable, not as easy as you would think to achieve. When I am wearing Young Native clothes I just get so many compliments from women, which is different from just getting men looking. Just walking down the street you get people coming up to you asking, where did you get that, It’s great! Most of all it’s about how things make you feel and I feel real, sexy and even more confident when I wear the right things and Young Native gives me those feelings.
I’m really proud of what we have come up with here and I know it will go down with women all over the world. I am overjoyed to be the Ambassador for the product and feel I played a little part in how this new line is being presented. Angela is a fantastic, original designer, she is the first of her kind to really break out into high fashion. She and I are both going where no one has quite gone before and we have a kind of sister relationship. She has designed the new Fear Chaser costume (which is fantastic) and she is also designing and styling me for my live shows, videos as well as the film I am going to be working in this year. So we are just having a good time, working hard and doing good business too. I know she works closely with My management, Record and Production company Shlepp Entertainment and they had a lot to do with helping her develop the marketing and images and direction for Young Native. They are also helping her establish the brand in China so it’s very much a team effort all of this. I know everyone will love it as much as I do.
It was a natural progression for Angela, after becoming Ayi Jihu’s personal stylist and designer to craft a collection she has been planning for several years and use Ayi Jihu as a muse for her designs.
The result is the beautifull and vibrant Young Native Collection. The Young Native Collection is set to grow over the next several months with more styles and accessories being added. Ayi Jihu is proud and happy to represent this new vibrant fashion brand and hopes that it will catch on around the world and especially in China.
Head of Shlepp Entertainment Stevie Eagle E
We are constantly on the look out for strategic business alliances for our business. We are always looking for ways to expand Ayi Jihu’s presence around the world. She is not just about singing there is much more to her than that. Young Native is a fantastic brand with great growth potential and it works perfectly with Ayi Jihu. We see nothing but good things here. Angela DeMontigny is the first of her kind really, a native designer about to breakthrough into mainstream fashion. Together they form a Dream Team with us firmly behind them, making sure that the brand and the individuals get out to the world.
Ayi Jihu continues to work hard independently with Shlepp Entertainment building her brand around the world. Despite the odds she continues to grow. Her new single and album are scheduled for release in 2013 and we shall be bringing you any news first here on Global News.

International Women of Worth, Catherine Anne Clark and Ayi Jihu
Looking at Chinese star Ayi Jihu and A Celebration of Women Founder Catherine Anne Clarke together does not automatically throw up ‘Kindred spirit’ However in truth both these women have very much in common.
Ayi Jihu has fought against her fears, tradition, culture and even her own people to establish herself independently as China’s first true crossover musical and popular icon. She has done what many have tried before and failed to achieve and she has done it mostly on her own. Catherine Anne Clarke in establishing her foundation A Celebration of Women Foundation Inc has had to go it alone also. Swimming against the tide to create what many are now seeing as a potential world leading organization in the next several years.
These two women have more in common than is first apparent when you see them together. They both have a self sacrificing attitude to their work. preferring to give to others rather than take for themselves. They both work hours that would kill most of us 14 to 16 hour days non stop. They both believe in something bigger than themselves and the circle they move in, and they both are building an international business.
As big as this world may seem, we realize just how small it is when like minded souls find each other amidst Billions of people. In truth it is not that hard because people like Catherine Anne Clarke and Ayi Jihu are far and few between, rare, and so finding each other is easier than one may think. 2012 promises to be the year both these ‘Women of Worth’ truly push themselves firmly above the Radar. Let us hope they both continue to inspire others to rise above their circumstances and be much more than this world says they should and can be.

When the Indian Nations go Yi – Ayi Jihu meets 3 Feathers
It is truly a humbling experience to work around Ayi Jihu, covering her work and reporting back to the world. One is aware that they are seeing something special at work, something unique and something that can ultimately change the way we look at each other. Watching Ayi Jihu somehow reminds me of the great Shaka Zulu who gathered the Disparate Zulu Tribes together into one awesome fighting force and whipped the British good and proper in a way that had never been done before. Without the guns and canons and training they realized that it was their numbers and spirit that would eventually win them the day, but it took one man to help them see the way.
Ayi Jihu is minority Yi in China, and if you look at Ayi’s audience around the world you will notice they are the economic and social minorities everywhere, even though they as a whole far out number the majority. It is this attraction to minorities that has drawn Ayi towards people of colour in her style of music and dance, It is this same deep attraction and love for the underdog that has led Ayi to represent Minorities all over the world, whoever and whatever they are, and to work with them wherever and whenever possible. She loves them and they love her simply because she offers them hope with her I can, you can, I did, so you do message. Her Fear Chaser persona and mantra is simple to understand for all ages and demographics as we are all well aware of fear and what it can do. So it is of no surprise to me to see Prominent Indian Nation representative Three Feathers make the journey to Los Arboles in Palm Springs to meet the Lady his people are calling the Chinese Indian. They see Ayi Jihu as one of them all be it from another place in the world.
Just as with the Philipe the Mild mannered Mexican force behind Los Arboles hotel and various restaurants in Palm Springs one could see the instant understanding and rapport between Ayi Jihu and Three Feathers. This was more than just a meeting of two great people doing business, this was a meeting of hearts and minds and the word family seems to be the only right word to describe it.
The meeting with Three Feathers is even more significant in the wake of Ayi Jihu’s recent tour of Toronto Canada. Ayi Jihu recently teamed up with Native American designer Angela DeMontigny a prominent Native American designer who has worked with and designed for many artists including many Native American Singers and performers. It seems a theme is beginning to form itself, or is this part of a greater plan for surely there is no greater symbolic minority than the Indian and Aboriginal Nations around the world
Whether it be speaking to kids from Canada’s diverse community in Schools or hanging out with Native American daughters of Three Feathers, Ayi Jihu is well at home. With her sights now firmly set on Fear Chaser the Movie and live experience as this year and Flyy Girls about to break production sometime in April, only time will tell exactly who Ayi Jihu’s audience will be. What we do know is it will be huge, it will be diverse and it will be real.

When Stars Collide – Ayi Jihu, Brian Roman and Christopher Dallo
On New Years Eve 2011 in Toronto Canada at a beautiful auditorium called the Lebovic Centre Three great artists got together for what could well prove to be the beginning of something historic. Thrown together part by planning, chance or divine guidance were Chinese International Star Ayi Jihu, Canadian (Rat pack) star and singer Brian Roman and Singing prodigy Christopher Dallo.
On the face of it should not even work, much less have happened. Ayi Jihu is still recovering from a viral Flu and a punishing program in Canada supporting A Celebration of Women Foundation inc. Brian Roman put this show together to Raise money for Charity preferring to ignore the Big money gigs he usually does. Christopher Dallo rushed in from working with Grammy Award winning producer and writer David Foster to make the show. It is fair to say that these three wonderful artists could ply their trade almost anywhere in the world and turn over a nice buck without too much problem.
However such is the power of giving, the beauty of chance and the chemistry of people, because all of those things came into play to make a very special group of people get together on a very special night. Also we should mention that like the 3 musketeers their were really 4. On this special night musician and singer Dave Lawlor was also in effect and he added to what was a very special night indeed.
The show itself was wonderful, and we hope to be able to bring you that soon. What is even more engaging though is the fact that it worked and that the chemistry between these three diverse talents on and off the stage was cemented by common foundations they all share: Talent, humility, realness, and love. We are on to something here. Watch this space.

Ayi Jihu – From Minus 16 in Toronto to Sun Bathing in Palm Springs California
Chinese Star Ayi Jihu’s Journey of Love to Toronto Canada is drawing to a close. During her stay Ayi Jihu seems not only to have won over the Canadians but their weather also. Where usually one would find 6ft of snow there have been mild days and a sprinkle of the white stuff here or there. That said, the weather has still plummeted to minus 16 degrees below. Ayi Jihu has spent the last several days battling a cold and although she has well and truly fallen in love with Canada, she is ready to head to Palm Springs at least until the snow melts here.
Ayi Jihu will be swapping the grey and cold of Toronto Canada for the warm dulcet tones of Los Arboles hotel in Palm Springs California. If you have been keeping up with Ayi’s journey in Canada so far you will be aware that she hit the ground running, and barely had she landed than she was in the mix. Whether it be performing on stage or speaking in schools, Radio or TV interviews Ayi has not had too much time to rest since landing in Toronto
We spoke to Ayi Jihu via skype on how she felt about her last days in Toronto and asked her if she was looking forward to hitting California: “I am truly going to be sad to leave Canada. Even though I have a cold and it is cold here I absolutely love Canada and I love the people. I had the best time here. I only wish I had more time to look around and do more normal stuff. I can’t thank A Celebration of Women Foundation Inc and especially Catherine Anne Clark for inviting me here. I met some fantastic women and men and I have made some great friends like Randi Goodman and Leena Patel and so many more. That said I am ready for some sun and to get a bit of a rest before things go crazy again. I have so much to do in LA and Palm Springs, another full schedule, but I am hoping and praying to get a moment just to rest and relax in Palm Springs, I really love it there and Los Arboles Hotel is like a little paradise in the desert.
Ayi Jihu will hit LA on the 3rd of January 2012 and another journey for this international Chinese star begins.

Ayi Jihu 2012 – If Women ruled the world
Gathered in La Maquette Restaurant in Toronto a group of would be women leaders meet to discuss just how they are going to step by step change the world we are living in. In their midst is Chinese Star Ayi Jihu, a ‘Woman of Action’ and Ambassador for A Celebration of Women Foundation inc.
Founder and visionary Catherine Anne Clarke started a movement over seven years ago. A ‘Pay it forward’ movement lead by women leaders, who would groom future women leaders and try to help this world. Now A Celebration of Women Foundation Inc has women of Action all over the world.
After thousands of years of male rule apparently the universe is shifting and women are going to be to dominant force. Whether you believe that or not, one thing is for sure, The women deserve their chance and if a chance is to be taken, A Celebration of Women Foundation inc is preparing itself to be in the right place at the right time.
As Catherine Anne Clarke presides over her cabinet one begins to get a picture of the power and reach of A Celebration of Women Foundation inc: Hundreds of women all over the world in every major city. All doers, movers and shakers, givers and contributors beavering away behind the scenes (at this point) quietly under the careful gaze of Catherine Anne Clarke from her offices in Toronto Canada. There seems to be no expertise she cannot tap, no link she does not already have a connection to no door she will not eventually open because let’s face it behind many a great man is often a greater woman.
This is not a Bra burning bunch of suffragettes or men haters, on the contrary these are real women bringing it back to what they know works, giving first. These are mothers, daughters, lovers who are prepared and happy to be mothers, daughters and lovers while still being leaders and trail blazers. These are women who believe that it is the combination of the being real women in business that is the key to moving forward. These are not women who want to out do men, or be like men, but bring what they bring as women, real women to business, philanthropy and charity and they are starting at the grass roots level by helping young women learn and understand their true value and worth in the world.
It is no surprise that a movement and foundation like this have sought out Ayi Jihu as an Ambassador. She is a Woman of Action and they have been watching her for many years ever since their first article on her several years ago, when Ayi went to Bermuda on her journey of love to get Domes for Homes for the victims of the Haiti earthquake and ended up confronting the rising gun crime problem in Bermuda and Island that before had never known such things.
If women ruled the world would it be a better place? Who can say, but one thing for sure, they deserve their shot.
